2016 May Maggie Valley Spring Rally

Maggie Valley Spring Rally returned to the Smokies bringing with it custom motorcycles, hot rods and quality biker entertainment..

I started my Friday morning at 7:30 by having breakfast with Pyro and Possum of His Laboring Few biker ministry.   Thank you guys.

The Laboring Few provides a free breakfast every morning at the rally for anyone whosoever desires.  Also provides free Bibles if you need one.  Great guys.

Friday morning started out bright, sunny and beautiful.  Sonny done a good job getting vendors into the field.

Didn't take long for showers to set in, however, and it put the brakes on a fine day.

Saturday was the start of a new day.  Once again the day started out beautiful but this time stayed that way.

As the day picked up, the crowd picked up.

One of the vendors was selling these miniature Jeeps.

2016's Bike Show entrants where of fine quality.  How do you like this chopper?

Check out this vintage Indian.  Super nice.

There is some big dollars tied up in this custom bike.

How do you like this paint job?

One of the crowd favorites at the Maggie Valley Spring Rally was the Captain America Bike.

Another show favorite was the Bat Bike.

Auto buffs from all over the south east come to Maggie Valley, NC just to view the hot cars.

Wooooh...Did that thing come out of a Transformer movie?

How many of you are old enough to see these cruising the road?

Here is one for the motor heads.

Ever seen a car engine like this?

Hot car on a hot day.  Near 88 degrees today.  Hot and sunny.

So many beautiful cars.

Jeeps?  Yes there were Jeeps.

How about this truck and trailer combo?

Clean and neat.

People have a love affair for hot cars.

After the bike and car shows, Saturday nights entertainment took to the stage.

Jody Medford thrilled the Saturday night crowd with his brand of country music.  Take a listen at this sample.
